Review: A weekend in Ocean City at DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront
Last week I had the awesome pleasure of traveling to Ocean City, Maryland for a little weekend getaway at DoubleTree By Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront. I haven’t been to Ocean City in years, so this was the perfect time to get away and explore the city a bit; while staying at a beautiful hotel. Now, I have stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton hotels before and I love them, but this one was by far one of the best! The staff was super friendly, the rooms were beautiful and the food was AMAZING!!
I stayed in a corner room with a beautiful view! I love that the rooms come with mini kitchens! The rooms are beyond spacious and are perfect for families. The sales team showed us around the entire property which I loved. They even showed us the BEAUTIFUL penthouse room! I mean, when I saw this room I was in awe! It was huge and it had multiple rooms that can sleep at least 10 people comfortably. I already know that I will be coming back on a girl’s trip! The penthouse has a large master bedroom with a beautiful view and a full sized eat in kitchen.
Let’s talk about the food
I must say, I was so impressed with their food and how delicious it was. The Marlin Moon Restaurant is located right inside of the hotel, so you do not have to leave the property to get a good meal. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the property, with a beautiful aesthetic that is definitely picture worthy. The Marlin Moon Restaurant is the winner of the Maryland’s People’ Choice Award, which is no surprise because everything I ate there was delicious!! Check out their breakfast and dinner menu!

DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront, is located just steps from the beach and walking distance to Ocean City's Boardwalk. It was raining the weekend I visited, so I didn’t get to hang on the beach, but the next time I go back, I will be sure to visit that beach! I loved being so close to the beach. The sound of the waves literally put me to sleep at night. It was a beautiful white noise that I could get use to!!
The space it also just a walk away from the Ocean City Convention Center. We had the opportunity to visit the convention center, which I thought was awesome. I did not know that Ocean City had such a HUGE convention center. My wheels were turning during the entire tour, because I was thinking how cool it would be to host a nice conference there. It would be PERFECT. The convention center space was massive and it could fit any size conference.
Also minutes from hotel is the Jolly Roger Amusement park and Splash Mountain. I can definitely see myself coming back with family as there is something to do for everyone!
We also took a brief drive to Assateague Island, and saw the wild horses! Assateague Island is a great destination if you love outdoor activities. They have Sightseeing cruises, kayak tours, crabbing, bird watching, fishing, hunting, and biking

Overall, my DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront hotel stay was a blast. It was a short quick getaway, just three hours from Baltimore! Next time I come back, I can’t wait to stay longer. There is so much to do, so much to see and it is perfect for everyone because the activities are endless. I would definitely recommend you stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront. The hotel space is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, food is great and the staff is exceptional!
