AIN'T NOTHING CHANGED BUT THE NAME

So I DID IT! I changed my Instagram name! Seriously, this has been the hardest and biggest struggle for me for the last 3 months. As most of you know, I had a complete rebrand with launching this site.  I was super nervous about creating my own site. I knew that once I stepped out on my own, that I wanted to just simply go by my name. I felt in my heart that DAYNA BOLDEN is the truest representation of me. I felt that ITSDAYNADANE could be outgrown and I knew that it was best to start my brand and my new journey with my name. 

To be honest, this decision was completely nerve racking because of what I have built so far under "ITSDAYNADANE", but I have to have faith that this is only the beginning for me. I have some serious high goals for my brand: from modeling, being on TV, to hosting red carpets, being on panels or whatever. I just felt in my gut that having my brand be my name was the best move for me. I also wanted to be consistent across my platforms, so that my website and social names all matched. I even polled a number of my followers and received good feedback that it was a great idea to change my name and make it easy, clean, and perfect. 

I love ITSDAYNADANE. It will always have a special place in my heart. But I have to realize that a lot of things in my life; whether it's opportunities, people, or things have a season. Some things are meant to be in our lives for a certain amount of time and some for forever. For the things that are in our lives for a season, are the things that we learn from and grow from. For the past 3 years, ITSDAYNADANE has been great for me but I am looking forward to growing and seeing all that I do with my new brand and just simply being me, DAYNA BOLDEN.
