I honestly ask myself when will this trend die? Will it ever die? As with all trends, there are peaks and valleys. I mean, look at flare jeans, I would never have thought those would have come back in style like they did. It kind of makes me want to kick myself for throwing away all of my high school jeans (not that I could probably fit them anyways haha), But with everything, you have the trends that catch on like wild fire and just seem to stick around for the long haul. Seriously, off the shoulder tops were EVERYWHERE last year, and they seem to not be going anywhere this spring/summer too. So here are the top reasons why I think this trend will stick around another summer:

1. IT FITS ALL BODY TYPES
I don’t know many women who haven't pulled off the off the shoulder look. All body types look good in an off the shoulder top- seriously it just works!

2. THE STYLE LOOKS GOOD ON WOMEN OF ALL AGES
Same as body type, all ages look good in the style. The trend just doesn’t fit one age group of women. From a toddler to a grandma, the trend will flatter all ages.

3. THERE ARE SO MANY OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM
Literally, you have loose fit, long, cropped, tight fit, baggy, the options are endless and they all work!

4. CAN EASILY PAIR WITH OTHER PIECES
No matter what you mix and match an off the shoulder top with, it still looks great! From mom jeans, to culottes, to flairs or skinny jeans it’s a perfect match for the off the shoulder top!

So if you still have all of your off the shoulder tops from last summer, pull those babies out again. The trend is still thriving and looking amazing! I have an off the shoulder top from Funky Flair Boutique. It can also be worn as a dress, but since I have a little extra junk in the trunk I paired it with jeans!
